Tour overview
Perfect for those interested in a short, immersive circuit ride. Starting from the capital Islamabad, we head towards the Kohala Bridge, which spans the Jhelum River and marks the entrance to Azad Kashmir. The ride through this lush, mountainous region offers spectacular views and a refreshing change from urban scenery. As we journey onward, we enter the verdant Balakot, the gateway to the Kaghan Valley. Our route takes us to the plateau of Shogran at an altitude of 2,362 meters, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Here, you’ll have the chance to ride to the lush green Sri Paya meadows, a thrilling off-road ride. Next, we make our way to the historic Karakoram Highway starting from Thakot, often dubbed the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This engineering marvel runs through the heart of the Karakoram mountain range and offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and deep gorges. As we ride along the KKH, we cross the powerful Indus River, which flows through some of the most rugged landscapes in the Kohistan region. Our journey continues to the town of Besham and then onwards to the Swat Valley via Shangla Pass. The Swat Valley, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Pakistan," is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and Buddhist historical sites. Along the way to Islamabad via the historic Malakand Pass, we’ll cross the Kabul River and see the confluence of the Indus and Kabul rivers, adding another exciting element to our adventure. Throughout this circuit ride, you'll enjoy traditional meals, explore local markets, and have the opportunity to interact with the warm and hospitable local communities.
