Traverse the remnants of Alexander the Great on two wheels. Pakistan is well-known all over the world for its diverse culture. During this journey, you will get a chance to witness the hidden beauty of Chitral located in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Packed with 40 peaks above 6000m including the mighty Tirich Mir 7726m—the highest peak of the Hindu Kush, you will surely enjoy the scenery. The journey will start from riding towards the Swat Valley, known for its beauty and ancient Buddhist ruins. Then we will ride towards the famous Kalasha Valleys in Chitral District. Kalasha valleys are inhabited by the Kalash people, also called Waigali or Wai and as "Kafirs" are a Dardic Indo-Aryan indigenous people. They also claim to be the descendants of Alexander the great. You will also witness the Shandur Pass which is the world's highest polo ground where Shandur Polo festival is organized every year. This tour is best for those who want to ride on the Roof of the World while experiencing the hidden cultures of Pakistan.

Islamabad
- Arrive and transfer to hotel.

Islamabad - Swat
270 km

5-6 hours riding time

- After breakfast transfer to Saiyah office; where the motorbikes will be provided.

- Later, start biking towards Swat. Swat was home to the last isolated pockets of Gandharan Buddhism, which lasted until the 11th century.

- Several stops will be given on the way for rest, tea, and lunch breaks.

- Enroute visit to Takht-e-Bahi monastery. The site is considered among the most imposing relics of Buddhism in all of Gandhara, and has been exceptionally well-preserved.

- Continue to Swat and upon arrival; transfer to hotel for the dinner and overnight.

Swat - Chitral

7-8 hours riding time

- After breakfast, start biking towards Chitral.

- Enroute, brief stops at Dir, Lawari Top. Lawari top is a high mountain pass that joins Chitral with Dir in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

- Lunch will be served at a local hotel. Later, continue drive towards Chitral.

- Arrive and transfer to hotel for the dinner and overnight

2-2.5 hours riding time

- After breakfast, start biking towards Bamborat.

- Arrive and visit famous Kalasha and Rambor valleys.

- Kalasha valleys are inhabited by the Kalash people, also called Waigali or Wai and as "Kafirs" are a Dardic Indo-Aryan indigenous people.

- Arrive back to Chitral and transfer to hotel for the dinner and overnight.

Chitral - Mastoj

5 hours riding time

- After breakfast, start biking towards Mastoj.

- Enroute visit to Zani Pass 3980m. (Subject to road/snow conditions)

- On the way, enjoy the view of Tirch Mir (7708m) — the highest mountain in Hindu Kush range.

- Continue biking towards Mastoj.

- Arrive and transfer to hotel for the dinner and overnight.

Road condition: It was sealed road upto Mastoj, but due to floods some parts became unsealed. Unsealed 40 km

Mastoj - Phandar

3.5 hours riding time

- After breakfast, start biking towards Phandar.

- Enroute, cross Shandur Pass — world's highest Polo ground where Shandur Polo festival organized every year. It is often called the 'Roof of the World'.

- Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

- After lunch, visit to Phandar lake having a look at the wonderful and mystic waters of the lake.

- Transfer to hotel for the dinner and overnight.

Phandar - Gilgit

4-5 hours riding time

- After breakfast, start biking towards Gilgit - the capital city of the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

- After breakfast, start biking towards Naran via Babusar pass 4100m. The pass is the highest pass in the Kaghan Valley, Pakistan.

- On the way, photo and rest stops at Babusar top.

- Arrive and transfer to the hotel for the dinner and overnight.
